SUMMARY
Most records relate to woodlands, but there are records from other habitats. The distribution is somewhat disjunct, with centres in the south-east and the north of England and isolated recordings in the midlands, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. It has been suggested that this species may hibernate as an adult, though there is no real evidence to support this at present.
