Welcome to the Lacewings and Allies Recording Scheme. This site aims to provide information, images and identification aids for the 82 species within the orders: Neuroptera, Megaloptera, Raphidioptera and Mecoptera which inhabit the British Isles. The recording scheme will work in collaboration with iRecord to provide data on the distribution of each species. This data will also feed into the National Biodiversity Network. If you are interested in being a part of the recording scheme or helping us with content for the site please email the site administrator.

It is very much work in progress at the moment, but over time we will build up a collection of resources relating to this group.
